Safety is convenience

Every year we renew to our customers the "non residue policy". This are not just words, but straight certifications and procedures. Vetanco assures the cleansing and tracebility procedures of all our production, and demands his suppliers the same certifications. Kiotechagil, a developer company based in the UK and unique owner of a special carrier technique, once again surprises us with the world most demanding certifications. To their warranty to supply organic, clean, registered and dioxin free products, adds today the FEMAS (The Feed Materials Assurance Scheme) and UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Standard) certificates.

The FEMAS Quality Assurance, certifies the quality of European technological food additives

The UFAS is the certification demanded to European additives manufacturers that assure they comply with GMP.

This certifications will allow our customers to discharge those additives supplier companies that perhaps with offices located in Europe are banned to supply their products to European feed producers.

KiotechAgil, can.

See attached the letter received from Kiotechagil where we are informed about this new, and a copy of the certifications.

You have to value what this means.

To all distributors

I am pleased to announce that KiotechAgil have just had our UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Standard) Certificate renewed for the next year. This is the quality Assurance scheme required for European manufacturers signifying that we operate under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This certification covers the production of Compound feedingstuffs - non-medicated. This is in addition to our BS EN ISO 9001: 2001 Certification for Chemical blending, packaging and delivery.

I am even more pleased to tell you that at our first attempt we have succeeded in satisfying the Quality Assurance procedures required by FEMAS (The Feed Materials Assurance Scheme). The Scope of the Operation covered is the production and sale of technological feed additives, including antioxidants, anticaking agents, acidity regulators, binders and preservative substances. The production and sale of zootechnical feed additives, including digestibility enhancers.
This scheme is linked to the International Feed Safety Alliance (IFSA) to produce an international standard for the assurance of feed ingredients across the World. The International Feed Safety Alliance (IFSA) is a joint project initiated by the following major European Feed Industry assurance organizations:

  1. Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) of the UK with FEMAS
  2. Overlegplatform Voedermiddelenkolom VZW (OVOCOM) of Belgium with GMP Animal
Feed, Productschap Diervoeder (PDV) of The Netherlands with GMP+
  3. QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH (QS) of Germany with QS-manual

Fédération Européenne des Fabricants d\'Aliments Composés (FEFAC).

Since January 2006 all members of IFSA have adopted the IFSA Standard for Processed Feed Ingredients in place of the previous FEMAS, GMP,GMP+ and QS standards. This means that this certification is both confirmation of the high standards set.

This confirms KiotechAgil as a top quality manufacturer of feed ingredients with the highest possible standards of quality control and traceability. This should greatly assist you in the marketing of KiotechAgil products against non-approved suppliers.

Kind regards
Murray Hyden
Managing Director
